Today’s post is a special one! We want to introduce Eva Almeida aka fit_pleasure to all of you. Eva is a local personal trainer that you will be able to find very much living at the gym.

We are pleased to announce that Eva is a member of FitFest Oxford’s Tribe and she will provide all of you with some handy tips regarding healthy eating and training techniques. So, keep an eye out for future posts!

About me

Everything that I am passionate about revolves around fitness. I love to run, do cross-fit and to train, be trained and to help other people to train too. I live a very healthy lifestyle, and I take pride in my healthy diet and exercise plan. My love for running came after I won my first 10K run and after I participated in a half marathon in the spring of 2015.

When I was younger, I suffered from insomnia, anxiety and low self-esteem. For me, going to the gym helped me to regain confidence in myself and added structure and comfort to my routine. I would love to give this confidence back to other people too.

I decided to become a Personal Trainer after my trainer inspired me and pushed me towards my goals. I also get a lot of inspiration from my family, in particular, my brother, who owns a nutrition shop in Spain and also takes pride in his fitness and physical appearance.

I am also a teacher, which I believe has given me a lot of confidence and experience with teaching others how to work towards their goals with a positive attitude in a realistic setting.

I have learned so much about my body through these years, and I became addicted to seeing my results! I understood how much stronger I can be with the right goals and motivation! Today, I’m living a more balanced and healthy lifestyle, and that’s what I want to show to everyone that: You CAN live a healthy and fun lifestyle with a proper nutrition plan by your side. You can be strong, healthy, happy, love your body, eat good food but still treat yourself sometimes: to have a BALANCE.

Everything is possible, everything! I hope to inspire and motivate others to live a healthy lifestyle.
