May 19The McTimoney College of Chiropractic is a top educational institution operated by BPP University and based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. The college began as the Oxfordshire School of Chiropractic, founded by John McTimoney in 1972. Here, students are trained and educated in the philosophy, science and art of chiropractic. Chiropractic is an alternative medical treatment where a chiropractor uses their hands to relieve pain from bones, muscles and joints.
The college offers a range of courses for undergraduates and postgraduates. It also offers foundation courses for those who haven’t gained the necessary grades and qualifications needed prior to applying, so they also have a chance for entry onto the Integrated Masters in Chiropractic. It’s an institute that prides itself in being the only one that offers chiropractic programmes for those who still wish to continue working while studying.
In recent years, the College has undergone a large expansion as a result of growing demand. This now means that over one quarter of the UK chiropractic profession is made up of McTimoney chiropractors. The demand for education at this renowned institution continues to grow, as students now and throughout its history have been given top grade, intensive tuition and supervision which ensures the preservation of the sought after McTimoney method.
Come and meet some of the McTimoney College of Chiropractic team at FitFest Oxford on June 15th to learn about the McTimoney method and the range of programmes available! Book tickets now at https://fitfestoxford.com/tickets/.
