How would you describe TWF Oxford to someone that does not know about it?
Training for Warriors is a programme for both men and women but at TFW Oxford we have decided to focus on women only classes. There are so many women who want to take control of their life, be it to lose weight, become healthier, meet people, learn to feel confident again. At TFW Oxford we don’t just run classes, we build a community of likeminded ladies who support each other to reach their individual goals. We aim to inspire women to feel good about themselves, and foster a belief that they can achieve anything.
By using metabolic and strength training with motivational coaching and nutrition advice, we build a community of ladies who lose fat, build muscle and have fun in a safe and supportive community. At TFW Oxford you can be any size, age or fitness level because all classes can be individually tailored to meet everyone’s needs. Our youngest member is 16 and our eldest 70.
What makes training with you different?
What separates the TFW system from other training programs is its culture. Although TFW encompasses signature warmups, speed training, strength training, endurance training, flexibility work and nutrition all based on a comprehensive evaluation process, the most important component of the system is its motivational approach and family environment. At TFW, we know if you don’t have fun and enjoy the training, you won’t do it. TFW is not designed as a sport or competition, but focuses on you competing against and bettering your body, mind and spirit.
What are the most important values behind TFW Oxford?
Being the best version of ourselves, gratitude and enthusiasm: Everybody has the potential to be the best version of themselves, to find that passion within that helps them to lead a flourishing life. Being grateful for what we have and approaching everything with enthusiasm helps us to do that. This is embodied in our TFW sessions.
